4ps procurement packs are an invaluable tool for local authorities going through the procurement process.
We have launched a new microsite dedicated to our procurement packs which will allow users to easily find specific parts of the pack, download the full guidance in PDF version and purchase the complete Word version so the pack can be tailored to your individual project.

Engaging with BSF - a joint 4ps and LGA conference
A joint 4ps and LGA event, this conference will let delegates hear the experience and views of colleagues within current BSF waves; share hopes, aspirations and challenges with other colleagues; receive an update on timescales/process for Wave 7 onwards and hear what support 4ps can offer to local authorities preparing to enter BSF.
The event will be held in central London on Tuesday 10 June 2008.

Operations review - Bus Rapid Transport (BRT)
The findings of a review carried out by 4ps on the progress and performance of operational Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) projects and the development of the sector is contained in this new report. The aim is to enable local transport authorities, operators and others to learn from shared experience. This report is not intended to promote BRT over any other modes. The selection of mode should be based on a thorough multi-modal assessment and business case in accordance with appropriate guidance.

Adult social care operational review released
4ps has released the findings of their review of operational social care projects.
4ps visited eight operational PFI schemes in England covering a variety of different adult social care services, interviewing local authority managers and service provider representatives, and focusing on their experiences in managing their operational schemes.

4ps and UCL to address the skills gap
4ps has announced a partnership with UCL and Constructing Excellence to design and deliver the Project Directors’ Development Programme.
This programme will advance the leadership skills, procurement expertise and commercial awareness of project directors involved in the development of PFI, PPP and other complex projects.
